Mars Argo Wiki

"Weightless Egos" is a song by Titanic Sinclair, included as the eight track on his album, Thick Jello.

Background[]

A demo version of the song's instrumental was first featured in Computer Show episode "Over 9000 Years", released on December 4th, 2009.[1] The track was not knowingly teased or previewed again until it was released on Sinclair's debut solo album, Thick Jello, on December 5th, 2012.[2]

Due to its inclusion in the aforementioned Grocerybag video, and Sinclair even confirming that most Thick Jello tracks were originally Mars Argo band demos,[3] it's highly likely that the instrumental demo was supposed to be a band song. Due to the timeframe, it might have been even intended for their debut studio album, Technology Is a Dead Bird. However, it remains unknown if Mars Argo ever recorded vocals for it.

Lyrics[]

What a relaxing thing to hear
What a relaxing thing to hear
From you
We never have to be afraid

We took the afternoon to meditate
When the computer made our bodies ache
I thought we might be able to escape

Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh

What an inspiring thing to see
What an inspiring place to be
With you
We never have to be afraid

Can we be astronauts with weightless egos?
Can we remember how the melody goes?
I think it's something that we might need to know

Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh, ooh

I think there's something that you might want to know
I took a pill to make the pain go away
I couldn't formulate what I had to say
I think the situation ruined my day

Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
Ooh
