Mars Argo Wiki

"Talkbox" refers to a two-part audio file released by the band Mars Argo to Grocerybag in 2009. These audio files served as promotional material for the band's then-upcoming debut album, Technology Is a Dead Bird.

Background[]

Not much is known about either of the two tracks, as neither of them has re-surfaced to date, except that they were shared as free downloads from Titanic Sinclair's Dropbox in 2009.

Talkbox 1[]

The first of the two audio files were released on the official Grocerybag website sometime in April 2009, under a post titled "What are you talking about?". It is theorized that this might mean the first of the two talkboxes is a raw recording session.

Talkbox 2[]

The second of the two talkboxes was released to Grocerybag six posts after the original one, sometime in late 2009. It is theorized to feature Mars Argo's Moog synthesizer, as the post prior to that one was titled "Moog". However, this theory remains currently unconfirmed.
