Matthew "Matt" Franklin Jenkins is a Detroit-based American photographer and cinematographer. He is perhaps best known for directing several videos for Grocerybag from 2009 until Mars Argo and Titanic Sinclair moved to Los Angeles in late 2012.
Background[]
He has originally met Argo and Sinclair when they first moved to Chicago in late 2009, first working with them on Reality Is a Dream in May 2010, which he directed with Tony Katai. Later that year, he helped the duo again by directing the "Mrs. Stadler" music video, also with Katai.
His first physical appearance on Grocerybag was in the Whats Your Name webseries, for which he was a director. His cinematography was also used in the Grocerybag scrapped channel trailer.
He remained a close friend of Katai after the duo had moved to Los Angeles. Despite Katai collaborating them on several Computer Show episodes, however, Franklin did not. His relationship with either member of the duo after the band's break-up in mid-2014 remains unknown.
