"Lovers Forever" is an unreleased song by Mars Argo. It was likely intended for inclusion on the Linden Place EP.
Background[]
The title was revealed by Mars Argo in a Facebook post on December 2nd, 2010.[1] She also posted a lyric in the comments of the same post.
Lyrics[]
You raise the blade
Trivia[]
- The line "You raise the blade" also appears in Pink Floyd's song "Brain Damage". This could indicate that "Lovers Forever" samples/interpolates the song. Argo and Titanic Sinclair have both confirmed they are fans of Pink Floyd in the past, which strengthens this theory.
- It's worth noting that multiple songs from the Linden Place sessions, such as "Beauty Is Empty", "Using You" and "Love in Black and White", also contain samples of songs by other artists.
