Christopher John Baran, known professionally as CJ Baran, is an American singer-songwriter and producer known for the band Push Play. He has produced music for artists such as Panic! at the Disco, Melanie Martinez and Carly Rae Jepsen.

He has known Mars Argo and Titanic Sinclair since at latest 2015, as he started interacting with the both of them on social media that year.[1][2]
In late 2020, Argo began following Baran on Twitter, which led to speculation that a collaboration might be in the works. This was later proven true when he was revealed to have produced "Angry", which saw a release as Argo's debut solo single on April 25th, 2022.[3]
Argo posted a picture of her and Baran in the studio together via Instagram stories on May 5th, 2022,[4] suggesting that the two are likely still working on music together.
