Mars Argo Wiki

Bedrock.LA is a recording studio located in Los Angeles, California, founded by Cosmo Jones, KamranV and Phil Feinman. It was started as a rehearsal studio, but later evolved into a full recording studio, perhaps best known by their work with MGMT, St. Augustine and Wallpaper.

A series of live performance videos directed by Tony Katai was uploaded to Grocerybag throughout June 2013. The audio was recorded in one take, with additional mixing and production by Titanic Sinclair. The videos were later made private, after Nigel Silverthorn had been removed from the band in order to improve its sound.

Trivia[]

  • A short video surfaced online, showing the band rehearsing "Using You" at the studio.[citation needed] However, a video of this song's performance was not released.
    • It is further theorized that both "Orange Juice" and "Where Is All the Snow?" might have also been performed, due to them appearing multiple times on the band's live setlists at the time.[1]
