Garett Clark Borns, professionally known as Børns, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He used to be a close friend of Mars Argo and Titanic Sinclair and has performed several times at the same venues as the two.
Background[]
Børns met Argo and Sinclair on February 2nd, 2012, when they saw him perform live at Subterranean after the duo's band. Since then, they have become close friends, with the band Mars Argo performing at the same events as him throughout 2012, most notably the Milwaukee Summerfest.
The duo stayed on good terms with Børns after they moved to Los Angeles in late 2012. In late 2013, he made a cameo appearance in their music video for "Using You". Sinclair later directed a music video for his songs "10,000 Emerald Pools" and "Electric Love" which were promoted through the duo's social media.
Details regarding Argo's relationship with Børns after the band had broken up in mid-2014 were revealed in a lawsuit against Sinclair. In mid-2015, after finding out about a merchandise idea for Argo's then-solo project, Guppy, Børns proceeded to sell candy medicine during his live shows, similar in vein to what Argo had originally planned. It is assumed that the two stopped being friends shortly afterwards.
