Alexander Scott "Alex" Mixter, previously professionally known as Alexander Collins, is a Chicago-based videographer, photographer, director and musician. He is the younger brother of Mars Argo's former creative partner and boyfriend Titanic Sinclair, as well as a former band-member of the Mars Argo band, for which he played guitar in 2012.

Background[]

He played live with the band in multiple occasions, being present on nearly all live shows in 2012, the most notable being at Hamilton Street Pub on January 25th, and Lincoln Hall on February 24th, for which video footage was documented.

Together with Tony Katai, Mixter has helped do videography for Grocerybag, most notably in Clips and Whats Your Name for which he is credited. His footage was also used in the platform's scrapped channel trailer.

After the duo's move to Los Angeles in late 2012, Mixter became less involved with their visual and music projects. However, Sinclair mentions having remained in contact with him in the 2014 Computer Show episode "Delete Your Facebook".

Trivia[]

  • He used to play guitar for the band Daniel with Nick Bujouves.
  • He has used clips of footage from the first part of Whats Your Name in his public 2014 Show Reel on Vimeo.[1]
